Beautiful colours. When I had children to care for we always made pictures from the leaves we gathered. Alas they are all grown up now. A x
Infant school in Autumn time - lengths of cheap fabric - fun mixing Autumn colours - more fun daubing colour onto the backs of leaves - then pressing them firmly over the fabric - result - fabulous leaf printed drape - all done by their own fair hands and Autumn magic!!!
There is so much color in the trees right now and no admission charge to view the show.

Little children love playing with fallen leaves, don't they? Those lovely swishy noises, the colours, trying to catch them as they fall ...
Of course there's nothing to stop us old 'uns playing either - as long as nobody's watching!
Our neighbour's tree, which I can see out of our bedroom window, has been such a vibrant orange colour for a week or so, and the duvet cover we have on our bed is the same colour. I've been very proud of the match. But then it was windy and all the leaves have blown off. Not so coordinated now. But nice while it lasted.
I must have taken hundreds of photos, without knowing what to do with them.
